Management Team

  • J. Craig Beals, Vice President of Sales

    Craig Beals is a customer-driven marketing, sales, and business unit executive with extensive leadership experience. He has a strong track record of growing revenue, market share, and profits in highly competitive businesses. He is responsible for leading DST Inc. marketing organization and driving sales strategy.

    Mr. Beals joined DST Inc. as a Director of Sales in 2016 and in 2017 he was asked to become our Head of Sales. In his current role, he oversees the Sales team responsible for business development of DST’s e-Commerce, DST’s ERP, DST’s Sales Insight and DST catalog products.

  • Gary August, Vice President of Customer Service

    Gary began his aftermarket career more than 30 years ago at a mid-sized distribution business in NY, and has fulfilled various sales and operations roles in all levels of the Aftermarket, from distributor to manufacturer to technology provider.

    Gary held a number of management positions with the business, which was a founding member of Federated and later a member of Parts Plus, supplying 23 company-owned stores as well as independent jobbers in the upstate New York and western New England area from a 100,000 sq ft warehouse. Gary has served on the board of the NYS Automotive Aftermarket Association, and been a member of the AWDA Information and Technology Committee; he also chaired the Parts Plus IT Committee.  Prior to joining DST, Gary spent 5 years as the Director of eCommerce and Systems at the Automotive Distribution Network where he managed WD and Jobber sales, implementations and support for ADN’s private labeled distribution management system.  In that role, Gary was also responsible for promoting the development and use of ADN’s eCommerce solution, and was the staff liaison to ADN’s IT Committee.

  • Joe Ferrazzo, Director, Product Management

    Joe has worked in the software industry for over thirty years. He is a former software developer and has spent the last eighteen years in Product Management. He worked at Pitney Bowes for 18 years and has been with Solera for six years, currently as Director of Product Management for Solera Parts Group, focusing on eCommerce. Joe has a BA degree in Computer Science, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, is Pragmatic Marketing certified and is a Certified Scrum Master.

History

DST was established in 1987 by several pioneers of the global automotive e-Commerce industry.  We created internet-based automotive and heavy duty aftermarket parts ordering, and we continue to maintain a leadership position in all of our markets. Highlights of this heritage include:

  • 1999 – Developed aftermarket’s first internet-based parts ordering application
  • 2001 –  Named an IBM™ Advanced Business Partner
  • 2002 – Selected by Heavy Duty America (HDA) as ERP system for truck parts distributor membership
  • 2003 – Selected by the Ford Motor Company for collection and management of  sales reporting information (Data Analytics) from Ford Authorized Distributors
  • 2003 – DST signs with ACDelco to Private Label TurboParts and offer it in the marketplace as ACDelco’s eCommerce Tool, WIP.
  • 2005 – Selected by Big O Tires as endorsed franchisee system for TurboShop® throughout their retail network
  • 2009 – Selected by Ford Motor Company as exclusive developer and supplier of e-Commerce application “eCounter” for Ford Authorized Distributors
  • 2009 – Selected by Ford Motor Company as exclusive developer and supplier of e-Commerce application “eCounter” for hundreds of Quicklane facilities
  • 2010 – Selected by ACDelco to build, maintain and distribute North American “Aftermarket OE Electronic Catalog”
  • 2010 – Selected by AutoZone as technology partner for e-Commerce solution for commercial, fleet and public sector customers
  • 2012  – Selected by RO Writer for integration to Smart ECat
  • 2012  – Pep Boys partners with DST eCommerce on integrated commercial ordering solution called PEP Express
